Numerical Investigation of the Effects of the Hole Inclination Angle and Blowing Ratio on the Characteristics of Cooling and Stress in an Impingement/Effusion Cooling System

Due to the uneven temperature field and gradient introduced by an efficient cooling structure, analysis of stress is necessary. In this study, characteristics such as thermal thermomechanical impingement/effusion system were investigated employing a fluid–thermal-structure coupling simulation method. The effects film hole injection angle (30°–90°) blowing ratio (0.5–2.0) studied. results showed that shape non-uniform structure had great influence on distribution. With increase in ratio, not only overall effectiveness increased, but maximum near holes also increased. cases with smaller inclination could provide better performance, caused more serious concentration hole. However, difference at leading trailing edges increased decreasing angle. = 30° 45° hole’s acute region.
